Kendall Almerico is considered one of the top crowdfunding experts in the United States. He was named one of the 20 most influential thought leaders on crowdfunding in the world by VentureBeat magazine and Inc. named Mr. Almerico to its list of “Top 19 Crowdfunding Experts Startups Need to Know.” Forbes called Mr. Almerico “one of the top JOBS ACT and Regulation A lawyers in the country.” In 2016, Onalytica ranked Kendall #1 on its 2016 list of the Top 100 crowdfunding influencers in the world. Mr. Almerico and his crowdfunding websites have appeared in the New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post, Washington Times, Huffington Post, Forbes, Bloomberg, Reuters, the New York Daily News, Business Insider, Christian Science Monitor, Fox Business Network and hundreds of newspaper, blog, radio and television interviews including CNN, CNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CCTV and Bloomberg TV. Mr. Almerico’s law practice is focused on crowdfunding law, and particularly on equity crowdfunding through Regulation A+, Regulation CF and Regulation D, Section 506(c) private placements under the JOBS Act. Mr. Almerico is a regular crowdfunding columnist for and a highly sought after international keynote speaker.

Mr. Almerico was also a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney in Florida until 2016 with 28 years of trial experience including litigation of hundreds of civil and commercial litigation matters and dozens of jury trials. Since 1988, he has tried dozens of civil cases, primarily civil jury trials, involving complex litigation, products liability, medical malpractice, personal injury and commercial litigation. His clients have been awarded millions of dollars in verdicts and judgments and millions more in settlements. One of the highlights of his legal career has been assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina by pioneering an aggressive litigation strategy that brought insurers to the bargaining table, finally providing relief to business owners and residents that had waiting nearly two years for results.

Mr. Almerico has also provided agent services and professional legal guidance to professional athletes including NFL players, Major League Baseball players, Olympic athletes and a NASCAR driver. Mr. Almerico’s guidance as a sports agent assisted his clients in such diverse areas as contract negotiation, endorsement procurement, media training, event planning, foundation creation and development and implementation of business strategies. Mr. Almerico’s sports agent work allowed him to represent athletes who participated in the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the Winter Olympics and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Mr. Almerico has also represented numerous television and radio personalities in employment contract negotiations, endorsement contract negotiations and employment disputes.
