legal services to a varied community:
Fairfax Legal Aid Society
The attorneys of DiMuroGinsberg provide employment
law counseling to low-income individuals through their participation
in the Fairfax Legal Aid Society. The Fairfax Legal Aid Society
provides free, civil legal services to low-income persons and
seniors who live in the Fairfax area.
Lawyers Helping Lawyers
The attorneys of DiMuroGinsberg are instrumental in
the ongoing work of the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Program. Today,
they offer their services as needed to provide peer assistance
to fellow legal professionals. Ben DiMuro acts as the liaison
for the Virginia State Bar to the Lawyers Helping Lawyers Program.
The Lawyers Helping Lawyers Program provides confidential, non-disciplinary
assistance to members of the legal profession in Virginia who
experience professional impairment as a result of substance
abuse. This help comes from professional staff and a statewide
network of volunteers who provide peer assistance. Lawyers Helping
Lawyers is administered by The Virginia Bar Association and
endorsed by the Virginia State Bar. Policies and guidelines
are established by the VBA Substance Abuse Committee. http://www.valhl.org
Special Olympics Virginia
The firm of DiMuroGinsberg has been a sponsor of the
Special Olympics Virginia since 1985. The attorneys of the firm
provide pro bono legal support to the Special Olympics Virginia.
In addition, Ben DiMuro was a member of the Board of Directors
from 1995 to 2001. Special Olympics is a year-round international
program of sports training and athletic competition for children
and adults with mental retardation. Special Olympics Virginia

The Virginia Law Foundation
In 2001, Ben DiMuro, and his wife Sandy, designated ten percent
of their estate to the Virginia Law Foundation. For the DiMuros,
the Virginia Law Foundation cuts across all areas that are important
to them: legal service to the poor, improvements in the administration
of justice, and education for the general public about the law."
The Virginia Law Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization
established by the Virginia State Bar in 1974. Currently, both
the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association nominate
members of its board. Its purposes are to advance the science
of jurisprudence and improve and promote the administration

Virginia Lawyer Referral Services
The firm of DiMuroGinsberg participates in the Virginia
State Bar's Virginia Lawyer Referral Services program. Participation
requires that the firm dedicate 2-4 percent of its time each
year to providing legal advice to referred clients for a nominal
charge fee.
