Represented a small electronics firm which was the target of an undercover sting by one of the big three national broadcasting company's nighttime weekly news program. Our client claimed the broadcast company had defamed it by referring to its repairs as dishonest. The jury found that our client had been defamed and directed the broadcasting company to delete any reference to our client, the Plaintiff, in this broadcast and to re-examine the goals and objectives of their overall program. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)

Represented a $200M document management company in defense of charges of conspiracy to injure and to interfere with business and in restrictive covenant litigation made by a Fortune 500 provider of top brand office equipment and services. Summary judgment was entered for our client, the Defendant, and the Plaintiff's claims were dismissed. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)

Represented a national provider of nursing care and ancillary health care services in defense of a trademark infringement and fraud lawsuit filed by a national provider of nursing homes alternatives. We successfully settled the dispute and the case was dismissed. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)

Represented Fortune 500 manufacturer of implantable biomedical devices in defense of a $30 million damages claim brought for claims of misappropriation of trade secrets, interference with business and conspiracy to interfere with business under Virginia Code brought by a larger Fortune 500 medical device manufacturer. Summary Judgment was entered for our client, the Defendant, and the Plaintiff's claims were dismissed. (US District Court - E.D. Va)

Represented the American telecommunications division of a Japanese information and telecommunications technology company in defense of a $30 million damages claim brought by a software manufacturer. The claim charged our client with breach of its agreement to pursue a joint venture to market credit card cellular mobile telephones, misappropriation of software technology and sabotage of the test program. Verdict was entered for our client, the Defendant. (AAA Arbitration)

Represented a non-profit, grassroots organization representing the educational goals of Native American colleges in defense of claims of business conspiracy, intentional interference with business relations, breach of contract and defamation. The case was dismissed in favor of our client, the Defendant. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)

Represented worldwide animal rights non-profit organization in defense of RICO claims and other business tort claims ranging from libel to tortious interference with business brought by manufacturer of cleaning and sanitizing products and services. The case was dismissed upon settlement in favor of our client, the Defendant. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)
