Expert Witness Testimony
Our attorneys
are experienced litigators and understand the value of an effective
Expert Witness during depositions and oral arguments.
Mr. DiMuro has testified as an Expert Witness in the areas of
Litigation and Professional Liability & Ethics in past trials.
Mr. DiMuro's extensive litigation experience has qualified him
as an expert in both state and federal court on all matters
of civil litigation.
Mr. DiMuro served as Chairman of the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary
Board and on the State Bar's Committee to Study the Code of
Professional Responsibility, which was responsible for adopting
the new Virginia Rules. He is also a former chairman of the
Eighth District Grievance Committee. He has served on several
related committees and teaches Continuing Legal Education courses
on ethics. Mr. DiMuro has represented attorneys in defense of
legal malpractice claims and has and will appear as an expert
witness in their defense.
As an Expert Witness, Mr. DiMuro and the firm will work with
the party's counsel to understand and to explain the dispute's
issues and to evaluate alternatives for each party involved.
After thoroughly assessing each case with careful attention
to identifying all interested parties and determining the merits
of the case, we can issue opinion letters for use during settlement
negotiations or in preparation for trial. We also can assist
in developing the case and providing pertinent and compelling
relevant reports along with support services. Should the time
come when the case goes to trial, Mr. DiMuro is available for
depositions, hearings and trial testimony.
