Represented Fortune 500 foreign automobile manufacturer in defense
of Title VII claim by a current employee. Summary judgment granted
in favor of our client, the automobile manufacturer. (U.S. District

Represented Fortune 500 foreign automobile manufacturer in defense
of Americans with Disabilities Act claim by a former employee.
Summary judgment granted in favor of our client, the automobile
manufacturer, on statute of limitations grounds. District court
decision affirmed by Sixth Circuit. (U.S. District Court B M.D.
Tenn.)
Represented Fortune 500 foreign automobile manufacturer in claim
for worker's compensation retaliation by a former employee.
Circuit court granted summary judgment in favor of our client,
the automobile manufacturer. Circuit court decision affirmed
by Tennessee Court of Appeals. (Circuit Court of Rutherford
County, Tenn.)
Represented Fortune 500 manufacturer of implantable biomedical
devices in defense of business conspiracy, restrictive covenant
and trade secrets litigation against larger Fortune 500 medical
device manufacturer. Summary judgment was entered for our client,
the Defendant. (U.S. District Court - E.D. Va)
Represented the named defendants in racial discrimination claim
and Americans with Disabilities Act claim by a former employee
against the named defendants and their employer, a local real
estate management company. Successfully resolved the dispute
and the case was dismissed. (U.S. District Court - E.D.Va)
Represented an employee of a local technology company accused
of breach of restrictive covenants, intentional interference
with business relations and theft of trade secrets against a
leading seismic data-mining firm. Successfully resolved the
dispute and the case was dismissed in favor of our client (U.S.
District Court - E.D. Va)
Represented eight women police officers (in a 1000-person force
where only two women held management positions) against the
County on claims of sex discrimination related to terms, conditions
and promotions in employment. All cases settled without litigation
with six women officers promoted to higher management positions.
Remaining officers' complaints of discriminatory treatment were
resolved.
Represented manufacturer of products used primarily by communications
service providers and equipment manufacturers to monitor and
analyze data, voice, cable, and optical networks in defense
of race and disability discrimination claims. Summary Judgment
was entered for our client, the Defendant, and the case was
dismissed. (U.S. District Court - E.D.Va.)
Represented Fortune 5 conglomerate and its manager charged with
sexual harassment in violation of Title VII. Case against manager
dismissed at the end of Plaintiff's evidence. Trial proceeded
against corporation and resulted in award of One Dollar. (U.S.
District Court - E.D. Va.)
Represented government contractor charged with terminating employee
in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act. Trial resulted
in verdict for our client, the Defendant. (U.S. District Court
- E.D. Va.)
