Stephen J. Stine
STEPHEN J. STINE represents clients in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law, contracts and civil litigation. He also has extensive experience in successfully representing whistleblowers in federal False Claims Act litigation.
Prior to his association with DiMuroGinsberg, Mr. Stine served as member of the Office of Staff Counsel for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In this capacity, he assisted the Court in the disposition of a wide variety of appeals including matters of employment law and Title VII claims, commercial transactions, federal and state tort claims, immigration proceedings, criminal appeals, and habeas proceedings. Prior to his term with the Fourth Circuit, Mr. Stine was an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s Office in Springfield, Illinois and prosecuted a variety of felony and misdemeanor offenses.
