HILLARY J. COLLYER is an associate in the law firm of DiMuroGinsberg.
Ms. Collyer represents clients in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation and civil litigation. She also counsels employers on issues of compliance with the complex array of federal and state laws governing the employer/employee relationship.
Prior to her association with DiMuroGinsberg, Ms. Collyer worked as a law clerk at the Department of Justice and the Legal Services Corporation in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Collyer received her B.A. degree in Political Science from the State University of New York, College at Oswego and her J.D. degree from the George Washington University Law School. During law school, Ms. Collyer was a member of the Moot Court Board, International Law Society, and Environmental Law Association. Additionally, she studied International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford through a joint program offered by George Washington University and the University of Oxford.
Ms. Collyer is admitted to the Bars of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia and the State of New York. She is admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
